Το Ιερό Βουνό ♣ El Sacromonte

            Στο τέλος του Δεκάτου έκτου αιώνα ανακάλυψαν σ' ένα βουνό που λέγονταν Valparaíso (Πεδιάδα του Παράδεισου) λείψανα και πλάκες με αραβικούς χαρακτήρες.
Αυτά τα βιβλία, γνωστά σαν Μολύβδινα Βιβλία. αφηγούνται ο βίος και τα μαρτύρια μερικών χριστιανών της εποχής των Αράβων.
Από τότε το βουνό ονομάζεται  "Ιερό Βουνό"  και χτίστηκε το Μοναστήρι. 

A finales del siglo XVI (1595) descubrieron en un monte, al que llamaban Valparaíso, restos humanos y placas de plomo grabadas con caracteres arábicos. Estos libros, conocidos como los "Libros Plúmbeos" , describían la vida y el martirio de algunos cristianos en la época musulmana.
Desde entonces se llama Sacromonte y en él se construyó la Abadía que lleva su nombre..
