Lock gates emptying into canal street, Manchester

            this is just playing around last summer to see what there is in the middle of the city, Canal street is a relaxed place for Lunch during the day, party central by night, and the centre of the gay scene in Manchester - really makes the most of the local victorian (and earlier i guess) industrial architecture. what were seen as run down ruins when i was a kid have been transformed into some of the most desirable city centre addresses.
