LUGGING THE FREIGHT... - a photo on Flickriver

            40143 at Moreton on Lugg with an engineering train which includes a crane on 6-12-81.

The barriers are up and someone is supervising the crossing and in the distance you can just see part of the nose of  a class25. 40143 is obviously static until called upon to assist with the pw duties.

40143 withdrawn 22-1-85. Arrived on 23-1-85 at Crewe Works. Cut by 25-1-86.
