Solstice surprise over Lincoln 😍 rare Stratospheric Nacreous clouds

A very rare sight seen over the Cathedral City of Lincoln on 21st December 2023 😍
Nacreous clouds form in the lower stratosphere over polar regions, when the Sun is just below the horizon - they are very high clouds, known mainly for the coloured light they reflect before sunrise and after sunset. The clouds are illuminated from below and often glow in vivid colours. They are rarely seen over the UK.
