2020.10.09.0750.D750 Great Egret

            I find it hard to believe that an adult great egret with a 6-foot/1.8 meter wingspan weighs no more than 3.3 pounds/1.4 kilos. That's less than a fully dressed cut-up fryer at the supermarket. But they're gorgeous birds, especially when those wings are spread as they land. It's like a ballet.
