It was a special day for me so what better way to celebrate it but to end it at the beach.  The sky was not cooperating, the sunset dimmed by the clouds, and the color was lacking.  Not disappointed because just listening to the gentle sounds of the waves lapping the shore brought a calm and serenity I needed.  Then for a brief few minutes it all changed and a magical event took place.  The rays broke through and the color was a brilliant gold.   Patience and acceptance ruled and I was able to leave with a few photos to commemorate the day.
