Dessert Table

The dessert table at my annual Christmas Eve open house this year; with the exception of the fruit plate, M&Ms, and the individual cherry cheesecakes (brought by a guest who hasn't quite registered that I tend to overdo these things), all made by me from scratch.

This year’s selection consisted of eclairs, Dutch apple pie squares, a Guinness chocolate cake with a Bailey's Irish Cream glaze, a cranberry-apple Breton cake, two whiskey pear tarts, a "candy cane” cheesecake, cranberry-white chocolate oatmeal cookies, and Florentine bars.

Didn't have time left in the schedule to set up lighting or tripods, so I settled for taking a few shots handheld leveraging my camera's auto ISO settings after guests started to arrive but before they dug into the desserts (there were plenty of savory items out for the taking as well).
