So, I went back to Potter Point yesterday morning for the big swell that was forecast. 
It didn’t disappoint, as a matter of fact, standing on the cliff tops in 50kph winds, whilst getting battered and soaked by sea spray and salt was pretty horrific, so, I retreated a beaten man.
This image is from the exact same spot, back in July 2020. I pretty much came extremely close to nearly writing off most of my camera gear this day, due to the amount of spray and salt in the air. Thankfully all ended up well, and I have since rectified that wet weather issue.
So this image is a 30 second exposure. I’ve used both motion blur and Gaussian blur to really show the power and the movement of the waves and wind that morning.
I added the lady with the umbrella to the cliff top here, to show a sense of scale.

A scary but fantastic morning to be out witnessing Mother Nature at her very very best.
