An interview with the BBC - a photo on Flickriver

            I have been asked to give an interview with the BBC regarding the proposed development on grade 1 agricultural land and an are of great biodiversity south of Faversham. This area has been earmarked for destruction under a sea of concrete by the owners, the Duchy of Cornwall and Prince Charles, I said yes.....

This area of mixed farmland has been beautifully managed by two forward thinking guys, Tom and Stephen, using modern farming methods that have enhanced the biodiversity of the area. They have employed many organisations such as the NT, KWT, RSPB and the soil association and their own ecologist and I have been illustrating the wide range of flora and fauna which include "Red List" endangered species such as Goshawks, Skylarks, Green Finches, Yellow Hammers, Viviparous Lizards, Dormice, Newts and a wide variety of wild flowers including the rare Man Orchids and others like this Fragrant. 

We are doing all we can to keep the farmers farming and the area rich in biodiversity continuing to be enhanced and not disappearing under another housing development. If you are interested take a look at Facebook and Farms, fields and fresh air, Faversham.
