Depuis fin décembre 2023, les 16 Ge 4/4" encore en service (611, 612, 614, 615, 620-627, 629-633) n'assurent régulièrement plus que la traction de trains de marchandises, souvent en UM, des Glacier Express et depuis le printemps 2024 une partie des trains Chur - Arosa.

Profitant de la fin du contrat publicitaire login la fondation Grün und Chrom a fait repeindre la Ge 4/4" 611 de 1973 dans sa livrée verte d'origine. La machine a repris le roulement régulier le 12 avril 2024. Sur cette future locomotive historique les phares ronds originaux seront réinstallés lors d'une seconde étape.

Débouchant d'un brouillard provoqué par des fumigènes, la Ge 4/4" 611 effectue son "roll out" en vert en sortant de la rotonde du dépôt de Landquart.
