The Boeing Collection
From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age.

Sometimes my fixed-length 300mm lens was just a tad too powerful :) Here we see the attractive livery of Air Mauritius on 3B-NAE - one of two ex-South African Airways 707s that the airline used in the 1980s, before acquiring a 747SP, also from SAA. They had previously used three leased aircraft from British Airtours: G-APFD, G-ARRC & G-ARWD [see my photo of 'WD in the comments section below].

In the distance, completing the Boeing triple are N790FA Boeing 707-138B, with an unidentified Executive Jet Boeing 727 - ID anyone Thanks to 'Irish251' - looks to be N505T of Tenneco :)

3B-NAE c/n 18891 Boeing 707-344B was originally delivered to South African Airways as ZS-DYL in Aug 1965, later re-registered as ZS-SAD. After leases to Luxair as LX-LGR and Air Zimbabwe as VP-WKW, the aircraft was sold in Apr 1981 to Air Mauritius as 3B-NAE and named 'City of Port Louis'. The aircraft flew with Air Mauritius for seven years before being replaced by a 747SP and later 767s. The aircraft was sold to AGES leasing as EL-AJT and spent the next few years under lease to various airlines, including Liberia World Airlines, Air Guinee and Guyana Airways. In 1996 the aircraft was retired and ended up stored at RAF Manston, eventually being broken up for spares in early 1997.
