Tunis Air Boeing 727-2H3 TS-JHQ kicks up a wake on take-off runway 27L at London Heathrow

The view from Car Park 2, or the gentle art of panning Tunis Air Boeing 727-2H3 TS-JHQ seen here in atrocious weather tanking down runway 27L on take-off on the scheduled flight to Tunis. My late-lamented dear friend Llew Griffith was on board, which was the reason that I made the effort to go down to Heathrow, take the lift up to the top floor of Car Park 2 and get drenched to record his departure 😃😂

Note the Arabic titles on the fuselage, with titles in English on the third engine - these were reversed on the other side [see comments section below].

TS-JHQ 'Tozeur-Nefta' c/n 20948 Boeing 727-2H3 was delivered new to Tunis Air in Nov 1974, and flew with the airline for an impressive 25 years. In 1999 the aircraft returned to the USA with Kalitta Equipment as N722SK and converted to a pure freighter. In 2004, the aircraft transferred to Kalitta Charters II. The aircraft flew well into the 21st century, still flying up to around 2017, and when retired, ended up at Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Michigan.
