Meerkats, Burgers Zoo, Netherlands - 3152

At Burgers' Zoo is living a fun family of meerkats in a residence next to the Desert.
The meerkats have access to a heated indoor accommodation. But actually they spend day and night, preferably outside, where they also dug their own passages. According to the census of the animal handlers, the corridors at Burgers' Zoo have more than 30 entries!
Although native birds of prey like buzzards and falcons do not actually preying on meerkats, also stands at Burgers' Zoo almost always a meerkat on the lookout, as the other family members scurry outside.
