Mauterner Brücke (Lower Austria) - a photo on Flickriver

            The Mauterner Brücke, formerly called Stein-Mauterner Brücke, is a bridge over the Danube between Stein, the district of Krems on the Danube that was only incorporated in 1938, and Mautern on the Danube in Lower Austria. The Aggsteiner Straße B33a leads over it.
Its forerunner was the second Danube bridge in Austria.
prehistory
According to findings, the transition between tolls and stone was used regularly from AD 100. St. Severin's biography also describes a transition to a market north of the Danube. While Passau-owned Mautern Castle secured the south bank, the Förthof, originally called Urfahr, was located on the north bank for this purpose (Wikipedia).
