The climb down

            Well looks as though this will probably be the last day of the Grand Canyon set, only have a few more shots to upload and then ill be moving onto to the next location which I won't specify just yet!

Anyways, this is another shot from the long hike down the canyon along the beautiful Bright Angel trail that zig zags all the way down to the Colorado river. Took this shot while we were trying to catch our breaths and drink some water in the scorching summer sun. Just 4 more miles to go!

More added to the Grand Canyon set, what an amazing place first off. It really did blow me away after reading magazines, seeing pictures, documentaries, nothing really can prepare you for how immense the canyon is....it really is amazing.

Anyways, we were lucky enough to stay on the rim for a few days (lucking out and getting a cabin in July right on the rim) The grand canyon is obviously gigantic, to give you a good sense of its size...its about as long as West Virginia...so seeing all of it would be quite the task. None the less our cabin was right off of the Bright Angel trailhead, which we later hiked (In 100 degree weather)
