A poppy - a photo on Flickriver

A poppy

I haven't planned uploading this photo so soon, but...

I drove with my mother and grandmother to a cemetery in Downary. While they was doing some gardening, I espied a few red poppies growing among the grass (the cemetery, for a countryside standards, is HUGE, but the forest makes about half of it and these poppies grow at the sand where the trees had been cut). Fortunately, I knew the cemetery was beautifully located (forest everywhere) and I had a new camera with me. So - I started The Big Testing. This is one of the first shots I took.

Is there a better way* to spend weekend than testing new camera with favourite lens attached? :)

Taken with Jupiter-37A 135mm f/3.5 lens, at full aperture size.

*Good book + good tea (good video game + good yerba mate I reserve for the evenings at midweek... Oh, come on, who I suppose to deceive?! ;) ).
