Rainbow in the Columbia River Gorge - a photo on Flickriver

            I set out to shoot the Vista House from a distance.  No color in the sunset that night, which was disappointing; however, there was this unique rainbow blob over the Hood River area in the distance.  I have never seen anything like it, and this image does not quite capture the intensity.  It seemed to go from one wall of the Gorge to the other, filling it with solid rainbow.  I snapped about 400 images.  This one is a number of layers blended. The view (almost all of you know this) is from a great lookout called (very odd name) the Women's Forum viewpoint.  This may be the most photographed location within the Gorge.  Let me know what you think.
