Autumn Gold

            The Vibrant contrast in colors become more evident if VIEWED LARGE.

 The Acer transforms itself from midsummer green to autumn gold during the late autumn. This one is growing in my fathers nursery garden at Boldre (New Forest ) and was flooded by glorious November sunlight 
Dad called me the same day from Southampton-17miles away telling me "If you dont come here with your camera now you may not see this ever again in the garden". I arrived 2hrs later-took the pictures-and yes-I've never seen it again
