Llanddwyn Island Boat House - a photo on Flickriver

Llanddwyn Island was one of the main reasons I wanted to visit North Wales, this was the first place we stopped at but it was the middle of the day on a sunny Sunday and i couldn't believe just how many people were here enjoying this stunning location. With literally hundreds of people there we used it as a mini scouting trip with the intention of coming back here at around 5am the next morning for a sunrise.

The early start certainly paid off and we had the entire island to ourselves to wonder around and shoot the endless compositions this place has to offer. Beaches, lighthouses, towers, old church ruins and wild horses roaming this place is magical.

This little stone boathouse with the golden sand and Twr Bach Lighthouse to the right of it just made for a really nice image in my opinion.
