Landing in New Orleans, Louisiana - a photo on Flickriver

Traveling by airplane offers some amazing sights from the window seat...like this one of Downtown New Orleans, Louisiana with the Mississippi River & Lake Borgne off in the background and the Crescent City Connection bridges on the right edge of the photo. This is the one and only time that I've ever been in New Orleans and I didn't even leave the plane that I was on when we landed but stayed to leave for my final destination. However, just having the opportunity to see this city from this perspective makes me want to come back and explore it some more. Definitely on the bucket list...
