4472 and a pair of tenders. - a photo on Flickriver

            On August 14th, 1971, Flying Scotsman and its exhibit train left Canada bound for San Francisco. The two Pullman cars had been stored at Procor in Bronte since the end of the 1970 Canadian National Exhibition while the loco and full brake were stored in Toronto.
4472 and the full brakes traveled to Clarkson where 4472 was wyed and ran tender first the 13 KM to Bronte where it was seen crossing the Third Line.
4472 coupled on to the Pullmans and returned to the wye in Clarkson where the Pullmans were coupled to the rear of the train and it departed to Fort Erie and the border.
Third Line level crossing was changed to an underpass when the road was widened to 4 lanes.
