Vers 1775, l'ancien château-fort est remplacé par un château d'agrément, élevé sur les bords de la Mayenne, accompagné d'une ferme et de communs. Around 1775, the medieval fortress was replaced by a pleasure castle, raised on the banks of the Mayenne, accompanied by a farm and commons. The balance of spaces and forms, the well-lit living rooms of this classic residence, are the common features of this type of building that punctuate the French countryside here and there.
