Zverynas Bridge - a photo on Flickriver

Zverynas Bridge

            It is a hundred year old bridge over Neris, which survived both World Wars. The Bridge was built in 1906 and name Nikolay Bridge at the time. It was designed by the engineer V. Malinovskiy, and the Russian scientist N. Beleliubskiy approved the project.

The Bridge obtained its current name from the hunting reservation, which was arranged in the nearby woods during the rule of the Duke Radvila.
