Soundhouse

            The Soundhouse is a purpose-built music practice and recording studio and forms part of the University of Sheffield's Department of Music. It was built in 2007 and is notable for its unusual exterior which is made of four half-ton black rubber sheets fitted with stainless steel pins to created a quilted effect.
