Reflected obscura

            Further around on my Golden Ponds tour, I found this shot of the daily clouds obscuring the sun in reflections on the ripples of the St. Vrain Creek. Same clouds. Same sky. Different venue. I like skies. I like reflections. This made a bold statement on this November day. A couple asked if I could move the clouds because the day chilled a bit as I walked in a tee and shirt and they in their jackets. They need to put more effort into their stroll. Give it a year and global warming will take the November edge off. They missed walking the Switzerland Trail in the near snow storm. I found other shots on the same walk. This a series of new and interesting sky shots at Golden Ponds. Extended contemplation and viewing is best done from a Golden Ponds commemorative bench. It would offer a great venue to slow the world and shut off the smart phone. 

This is another of my impressionist works. I got Degas in my sights. It might take some more time. I am still working on that "walking on water thingy!" I got wet this time. I probably failed to keep my feets absolutely flat on the water... or maybe it was the Ripple....   ripples. Dang, I like this Nikkor lens... probably the most versatile lens I've ever had. 

Scientists told all believers and non-believers alike to expect more violent weather swings as the atmospheres warm as the Trumpettes head to the Bonn Climate summit to sell clean coal and natural gas as the only treaty holdout country. Two of the Trumpette delegation admitted they "personally" believed in global warming. They won't be returning to gummint jobs. Governors and mayors from several American states and cities made up for the buffoons.
