The Less Fortunate | 1 - a photo on Flickriver

            Freightliner has a relatively large amount of Electric locomotives at their disposal, but the fleet of 86s and 90s aren't getting any younger and parts need to be sourced from somewhere to keep them going. There are 3 locomotives at Basford Hall used as parts donors for the active fleets - 86229, 251 and 90050.

This image shows ex-Virgin 86229 outside Crewe VMF. The loco is missing it's marker light cluster, headlight, cab door and is likely to have been heavily robbed inside also. This loco has taken the spot of ex-Network Rail 86901 after they took all they could from it.
