Monarch Butterfly (Secaucus, NJ) - a photo on Flickriver

            I didn't know much about this particular butterfly breed, but their story is truly amazing. These butterflies have tough life and every year they fly more than 10,000 miles to adjust with the weather. Few more days before the winter hits the north, they need to migrate back to Mexico and again come back next year for the summer. With the pattern they use to fly, it is unbelievable that they can fly so much and makes me wonder how much energy these tiny beings have to burn every year. But they don't give up!
