Midday at McWay Falls - a photo on Flickriver

            It was half past high noon when I took this shot last spring. Wildflowers were in abundance along with the sun. So, I brought out the Lee Big Stopper filter to fight with the sun and slow down the water motion. My lovely bride and I had met up with some friends from Southern California for a few days in the quaint little town of Cambria. We decided to drive up the coast through Big Sur on our way home with a stop at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Maybe someday I will make it back to this beautiful place for an early morning or late evening low light shot.
