British Soldier, Imperial Camel Corps, at Kelmarsh Festival of History 2009

British Infantry Soldier on Camel.
Living History re-enactor prtraying an infantryman in the Imperial Camel Corps.
Period: The Sinai and Palestine Campaign during the Middle Eastern Theatre of World War I.
The camel was more interested in eating leaves from the oak tree than going into the arena to play its part in the "Animals at War" display.

Festival of History event organised by English Heritage.
