La ligne du Nyon Saint-Cergue Morez a été inaugurée en 1916 à voie métrique, sa longueur est de 27 Kilomètres. 

En 1921, la ligne a été prolongée jusqu'à Morez (France), cette portion de ligne a été fermée en 1958
