Gil Clary (1894–1968) was a French screen actress, who, apart from a single performance in 1909 in Coeur de femme (Camille de Morlhon), was an actress of the French interbellum, acting in some 22 silent and early sound films between 1918 and 1934. Often she was directed by Roger Lion (1882-1934), her husband. 

Memorable leads Clary had in three films shot in Portugal: the Franco-Portuguese film A Sereia de Pedra/ Sirène de Pierre  (Roger Lion, 1923),  Os Olhos da Alma/ Les Yeux de l'âme   (Lion, 1923), and La fontaine des amours (Lion,  1924), set in Coimbra, and with Clary in a double role as Inez de Castro and a poor Portuguese girl losing her beloved to a visiting French star. Clary also had the leads in Amour de louve (Lion, 1929), and L'appel de la chair (Lion, 1929), while she had major supporting parts in films such as La roue (Abel Gance 1923), Princesse Lulu (Donatien, René Leprince, 1925), La clé de voûte (Lion, 1925), La chèvre aux pieds d'or (Jacques Robert, 1926), Jim la houlette, roi des voleurs (Lion, Pierre Colombier, 1926), Les fiançailles rouges (Lion, 1927), and Un soir au cocktail's bar (Lion, 1929). While Clary's parts in early French sound film were not big, Lion gave her the lead in the comedy Le lit conjugal (1931), and the female lead in Allô... Allô... (1931). Her last part Clary played in another film by Lion: Trois balles dans la peau (1934), even if a minor part, while Colette Darfeuil had the lead. Prevously, Clary had done a minor part in another Darfeuil vehicle by Lion: Y'en a pas deux comme Angélique (1931). When Lion died in 1934, Clary quitted film acting.
