Turkmenistan came last only to North Korea by reporters without borders for freedom of expression .

In TM water , electricity, and gas , are free for everybody , and have been since 1991 , and rumoured to be until at least 2030 .

From July 2014 Turkmens will no longer get their monthly allowance of 120 litres of free petrol .
The free petrol was introduced in 2008 .
