Paleis Soestdijk wordt deels een hotel. Dit maakte het Rijksvastgoedbedrijf vanochtend bekend. Na een grondige verbouwing komen in het oude paleis van koningin Juliana en prins Bernhard een hotel en restaurants.

Minister Plasterk van Binnenlandse Zaken maakte vanmorgen bekend dat het consortium Made By Holland in het voormalige paleis en het landgoed mag kopen om er hun plannen uit te voeren. Zij deden het hoogste bod, 1,7 miljoen euro.

De eerste verdieping van het paleis wordt waarschijnlijk tot hotel omgetoverd. In de vleugels kunnen bedrijven en kennisorganisaties ruimte huren voor presentaties. Aan de overkant van de Amsterdamsestraatweg is ruimte voor ontvangsten en evenementen. Op verschillende plekken op het landgoed komen restaurants en slaapverblijven. Op het terrein van de voormalige marechausseekazerne is in de plannen van Made in Holland plaats voor 65 (half)vrijstaande woningen.

Soestdijk Palace becomes partly a hotel. This made the real estate company known this morning. After a thorough refurbishment, in the old palace of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard comes a hotel and restaurants.

Minister Plasterk van Binnenlandse Zaken announced this morning that the consortium Made By Holland may buy in the former palace and the estate to implement their plans. They made the highest bid, 1.7 million euros.

The first floor of the palace is probably transformed into a hotel. In the wings, companies and knowledge organizations can hire space for presentations. Across the Amsterdamsestraatweg there is room for receptions and events. Different places on the estate include restaurants and sleeping accommodations. In the plans of Made in Holland, there are 65 (half) detached houses in the area of the former marechausse chezas.
