The Eagles Have Come Home! - a photo on Flickriver

            Two winters ago heavy windstorms damaged the old and growing bald eagle nest, and to the point residents moved on. Two days ago, while trekking along a favorite path, I strolled over to the canyon edge where I could look directly into the tall pine that had housed the nest. Low and behold, the nest was restored and occupied. And from all indications, a new family will soon hatch.
