Durdle Door - a photo on Flickriver

Durdle Door

            I have been wandering around the UK for the last couple of weeks and one of my journeys has taken me to Dorset on the South West Coast of England. In this shot is the famous arch known as Durdle Door. Not the easiest place to reach for me with my slipped discs and arthritis in my hips but well worth the effort. The Durdle Door has been significantly eroded over the last two or three winters due to sea storms, so if you are planning to visit I recommend doing it soon before the archway disappears for ever.
