Tatty 483004 - a photo on Flickriver

Tatty 483004

            483004 was certainly the most tatty of the 483`s on the Isle of Wight in their final years of service. In fact, when this was taken in August 2019, it had been 12 years since the roof last seen a lick of paint, and it certainly showed. The unit was withdrawn from service a few days later. 
It is certainly looking much tidier these days, as it is being cosmetically restored to be used as a cafe at Hale Common on the Island.
