Tattoos in the sun f-296 - a photo on Flickriver

As I was exploring the island at the mouth of Hungry Bay, Petra arrived, searching for "buried treasure", located by clues and GPS. Unfortunately the hiding place in the wall of the old fort was covered by piles of cut wild shrubs which had been cleared from the site but with a bit of digging, and guided by locating the old stump, we soon found it.

I commented on her interesting tattoo and, having seen the snap I had just taken of her with the "treasure", she said she would like to have a proper photo of it. So here it is, nicely lit by the evening sun.

I did mention that nudity was not allowed on Bermuda beaches but she said that facing out to sea it would be OK... whereupon a motor boat came past (fortunately some way off) – she just gave them a friendly wave.

The original photo was archived n 2019. It received 281 "faves" on Flickr before reset, now a total of 296.

This is a new, full-frame version (the previous one was cropped because she was concerned abut the "no beach nudity" regulations on the island – and she has now returned to Europe). Her all-over tan, revealed when she tookoff her bikini for the photo, suggested that she had a private garden for sun-bathing. Even as taken, it was framed for her mainly to show the tattoo – though I thought the rest of her back looked rather nice as well !
