Autumn Leaves in Whalley Abbey - a photo on Flickriver

            Got to say I just loved walking around the ruins of the Abbey, The only sound was that of falling leaves and the nearby river. 

Some other good news is that we have managed to book a few weeks away later this month. With all that been going on, I have not been the best person to live with. So this holiday is for my dear wife who more than deserves it. She has been my rock regarding the help she has given me with my Mum. 

My mum is still in the hospital at the moment in part of the hospital they call "The forget me not ward" for Dementia patients. When you see how hard these nurses work and how lovely they are with some really difficult patients, they are worth their weight in gold.  

It's been difficult but the home we have found Mum is wonderful, she will have a lovely view into the beautiful gardens. And although it kills me because I know its not what she would ever have wanted, but with all the love in the world we could not have given her the help or attention she requires all the time.

I hope you don;t mind me talking about this? I consider you all my friends and you have all been a massive support to me.....
