Your scrutiny of your surroundings
or taste in fashion
Because, just the very existence
Left a memorable and indelible impression
Upon my brain.

I’ve been thinking about how I passed you.
Quickly and as if I 
Couldn’t spare a thought
I pretended to be distracted by
So many other humans
Constantly around me.
Still, I was thinking of you.
Pondering and ready
To give the world
A big old piece of your mind! 

I don’t know why I love you
But I do.
Every day.
Since that day.
