Albi, "La Ville Rouge" - a photo on Flickriver

            Albi, ville natale d'Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec et siège de l'archevêché, est le chef-lieu du département du Tarn, dans la région Midi-Pyrénées.
Albi est remarquable par son impressionnante cathédrale fortifiée Sainte-Cécile qui domine le centre-ville historique et la rivière.
Albi est surnommée "La Ville Rouge" du fait de la couleur des briques de sa cathédrale et de son centre historique.

Albi is remarkable for its impressive fortified cathedral of Sainte-Cécile overlooking the historic city center and the river.
