RD21695b(vid). On Sunday, 30th October, 1994, Gresley LNER A4 Class Pacific 60009 UNION OF SOUTH AFRICA paid a visit to the Nene Valley Railway at Peterborough in Cambridgeshire; it headed a special charter train from London King's Cross organised by the railway enthusiast magazine Steam Railway.

It was 60009's third visit to King's Cross since the 1960s – the first and second visits had taken place the day before.

This video is of the train at, and departing from, Peterborough on the return journey.
