Arizona - Grand Canyon: A unique view: from the Desert View Point overlook the view to the north

            The easternmost viewpoint on the South Rim is Desert View Point. If you approach the Grand Canyon from the northeast via Cameron, this will be the first place to stop and risk a look into the depths. Accordingly, the viewpoint is developed. A huge parking lot along with tourist information and souvenir stores make this part of the South Rim an attraction of its own.
