Thai Sky Airlines (9I/TKY) / L-1011-1 Tristar / HS-AXA / 10-01-2005 / HKG

            The beauty of this plane simply can't be expressed into words. We were extraordinarily lucky in 2005 when Thai Sky started operating L-1011s on a daily & multiple daily basis here.  What great memories!! 

They were founded in 2004 and launched flights in 2005 with HKG being their primary destination, although they did serve other regional destinations before suspending operations in 2006. 

In addition to the Tristars, they also operated a single 747-200.  This particular frame was ex-Delta Air Lines that first flew in 1997.
