Quadragenarian Quadprop - a photo on Flickriver

            C-FPBJ, a de Havilland Canada DHC-7-103 Dash 7, on approach to runway 23 at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.

The 45-year-old was arriving as TIN806 (Air Tindi Ltd.) from Kapuskasing, Ontario and Attawapiskat, Ontario. 

Serial number 9 is currently the oldest Dash 7 in service around the world. It began its career as A6-ALM with Emirates Air Service at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on July 31, 1978. It later served with Air Greenland A/S of Nuuk, Greenland and with Trans Capital Air Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario before joining the Air Tindi fleet at Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on March 10, 2021.

Air Tindi owns 11 Dash 7s and five of those are airworthy. This is the first example to wear the carrier's revised livery with bold titles.
