B.O.A.C - G-AMXA - London Gatwick Airport (LGW/EGKK)

Who remembers the Comet nose section that used to be on display at Gatwick?  Back in the days when they had a viewing gallery!

Info:

Aircraft was built in 1952. It was delivered to B.O.A.C in 1953 and later to the Royal Air Force as XK655.
It was scrapped at Strathallen in 1990 and the nose section was kept to be preserved at Gatwick.
Today the nose section is on display at the Sharjah - Al Mahatah museum and open to the public there.
