We ran so fast…chasing each other
Like only children do

And moved the clouds
With our arms at will
We folded at the suns and moons

Following the tides
And screamed at the top of our longs
We touched each other
Making noises waiting in the water
Throwing ourselves in the soft sand
Full of joy
Full of anticipation
Excitement
We shall return

And speak ancient words
Whispering secrets
That now we don’t understand
We recognize that love and life
Has been prepared for us before we knew
