PLAZA DEL COMERCIO - LISBOA - COMMERCE SQUARE - LISBON

            In this square was built the royal palace that existed more than 200 years, but the earthquake of 1755 completely destroyed it.
The later reconstruction of the Marquis of Pombal was designed in its totality as a unique set with new buildings, with arcades surrounding the square that are currently occupied by ministries.
Tired of visiting castles, palaces, museums and other similar monuments, we had sat in the restaurant of the day, which I was grateful for, but from the window I saw these clouds that looked out over the horizon and I thought that maybe they would not be there or there would not be others so beautiful and I decided to make a last effort with the few energies that I had left.
I made two or three, but this is the one that pleases me the most.

En esta plaza se había construido el palacio real que existió más de 200 años, pero el terremoto de 1755 lo destruyó por completo.
La posterior reconstrucción del Marqués de Pombal fue diseñada en su totalidad como un conjunto único con  nuevos edificios, con arcadas rodeando la plaza que están ocupados actualmente por ministerios.
 Cansado de visitar castillos, palacios, museos y otros monumentos similares, nos habíamos sentado en el restaurante de turno, cosa que agradecía, pero por la ventana vi estas nubes que asomaban por el horizonte y pensé que quizás luego ya no estarían o habría otras no tan bellas y me decidí a hacer un último esfuerzo con las pocas energías que ya me quedaban. 
Hice dos o tres, pero esta es la que más me complace.
