South Coast Airways Douglas C-47A Skytrain "DC-3A" (G-DAKK) at Aviodrome Lelystad

            De C-47 Dakota (G-DAKK) uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is een luchtwaardig exemplaar, dat in 1944 heeft deelgenomen aan de luchtlandingen in Normandië tijdens D-day. 

De Dakota vliegt in de kleuren van South Coast Airways, een niet meer bestaande Britse luchtvaartmaatschappij. Het passagiersvliegtuig draagt de registratie G-DAKK en vliegt volgens hedendaagse vliegveiligheidseisen, met plaats voor 28 passagiers. 
Eigenaar van de ‘Dak’ is Tony Holden, dezelfde eigenaar als de Dakota ‘Fifi Kate’ die eerder bij de Aviodrome was te zien.

The C-47 Dakota (G-DAKK) from the Second World War is an airworthy copy, which in 1944 participated in the airborne landings in Normandy on D-Day. The Dakota is flying in the colors of South Coast Airways, a defunct British airline. The passenger airplane carries the registration (G-DAKK) and flies by today's flight safety requirements, with room for 28 passengers. Owner of the "Roof" is Tony Holden, same owner as the Dakota 'Fifi Kate' earlier in the Aviodrome showed.
