            ... è un mondo pieno di nomadi col sacco sulle spalle, Vagabondi del Dharma che si rifiutano di aderire alle generali richieste ch'essi consumino prodotti e perciò siano costretti a lavorare per ottenere il privilegio di consumare tutte quelle schifezze che tanto nemmeno volevano veramente come frigoriferi, apparecchi televisivi, macchine, almeno macchine nuove ultimo modello, certe brillantine per capelli e deodoranti e generale robaccia che una settimana dopo si finisce col vedere nell'immondezza, tutti prigionieri di un sistema di lavora, produci, consuma, lavora, produci, consuma, ho negli occhi la visione di un'immensa rivoluzione di zaini migliaia o addirittura milioni di giovani americani che vanno in giro con uno zaino, che salgono sulle montagne per pregare, fanno ridere i bambini e rendono allegri i vecchi, fanno felici le ragazze e ancor più felici le vecchie, tutti Pazzi Zen che vanno in giro scrivendo poesie che per puro caso spuntano nella loro testa senza una ragione al mondo e inoltre essendo gentili nonché con certi strani imprevedibili gesti continuano a elargire visioni di libertà eterna a ognuno e a tutte le creature viventi ...
