Rufous-tailed Rock-Thrush (Monticola saxatilis) winter male

            Aka Common Rock Thrush. These breed on the rocky mountain slopes or higher alpine meadows of southern Europe across to central and western asia. They migrate to spend the winter in sub-Saharan Africa.

Coincidentally, for the last few days there has been a vagrant male on mountain close to my home in South Wales.
